Nobody ever said it wasn't going to be hopeless. ;p

I still feel an urge to puke a little every time I remember Hillary "reminding" America how important the Reagans were in the fight against AIDS. C'est a rire. C'est a pleurer.

But then she suddenly converted to approving of gay marriage right about the time the poll numbers told her it was okay (nay, imperative) to do so.

"A politician is an arse upon which everyone has sat except a man." (Or, in this case, a woman.)

But I prefer not to have missiles raining down on my head and the heads of those I care about. So we still must push this demagogue thing back into its hairy little hole. (Although it's looking bleaker and bleaker.)

William,

I totally hear you. I figure Drumpf means what he oinks when he says he intends to turn over all questions re management of the world (world beyond Murica and its New Great Wall that is) to "the military". This means he plans a Regime of the Generals, which makes sense for him because he cares/knows nothing about any millimetre of the planet from which he can not quickly and easily extract substantial personal profit using his usual business methods (cheating, lying, hustling &c). Maybe doesn't make so much sense for us because we remember the Generals are the instruments of the Permanent War Industry, which makes quick and easy profit everywhere always. But sharing a bit of the take with the Generals at least will...

And so on for that line of thought.

Haim Saban, the zillionaire egypto zionist tinkerer with murican elections, is laughing at me while I hunt and peck these silly-old-foolish words. He will make sure Hildebeest comes out okay (that is, ends up sitting down in the POTUS chair). Hildebeest IS the permanent war industry. She's not splitting the take with anybody, ever. You don't go from being merely a normal POS North Shore suburban rich girl to the driver's seat of the Permanent War machine by being dumb.

Anybody who believes Hildebeest will vacate her Neocon base and move to the Left to placate the Berners probably also believes there is a role for The Bern in any of this. Well indeed there is. It is the role of the silly old fool who got taken.

He had a chance to have his primetime moment by walking. He blew it. Silly, silly, silly old fool. Now when the missiles come raining down across that stretch of Earth where civilization supposedly began, he will be one of those we have to thank. And that will be no problem. For a while...

Try this another way. We've now heard Michelle prime-timing her own autobio slave narrative to whip the brozos up into a lather for the politician whose brilliantly apt true name she authored, she too is helping prepare the launch program. After the Coronation, Hildebeest won't need Generals. We saw her exulting in the war room playhouse right along with the brozos when they heroically executed the long range hit on Code Name Geronimo.

Anywhere the first missile falls will be here.

The cutesy comedian Sara Silverman could play the Slim Pickens role in the film, riding the warhead homeward. The residuals would be terrific.

Hi, Guys. I'm sorry to have to say I'm still going to vote for Clinton. Do I like her? No. Do I want her to be president? No. Do I disagree with anything either of you say? No. But I have two choices: her or Trump. One of them is going to be president. I gave up all my idealism and hope 30-40 years ago. Much as I don't want Clinton, her presidency leaves power in the hands that already have it. Trump's presidency puts power in the hands of what I deem to be even worse people. Sorry.

Don't be sorry, john, for doing the thing which anybody who works in and benefits by this system, which you don't like and don't believe in, in which you long ago lost all trust but which permits your cynicism while feeding you, ought to do, that is, doing your small bit to keep it in place because you deem some other arrangement might well be worse for you. The spreadsheet and powerpoint people who game the Her Show are counting on you and a whole lot of similar consuming units to do exactly that.

I'm counting on all of you to do just that, too.

On the other hand, if you didn't, I'd be mildly surprised; but from the looks of the dimensions of the money machine that's With Her, I don't think Her would be permitted to lose, one way or the other.

And hey Her has always been out there doing things for kids so you've got to know Her's got a big heart except that Her doesn't and when Her was legal counsel for Walmart (that great commitment to the underdog, again), though the company's use of child labour never seemed to interest Her, it was the women's interests, it was that glass ceiling always, the one that kept nagging at Her, the one in which, as Her's now told us from the 1984 MegaSkypeScreen, Her's just made "the biggest crack".

Of course these demographics are forever shifting sands so that in the past few days, as the numbers have been hinting that the Garden Party Feminism, with its pre-school brain, might not be strong enough, so maybe might not get foregrounded quite so much, in the bullet point charts, this week we might hear something else out of her.

To my ear Her relentless insatiable craving for power really only tunes in when Her goes to the straight up killer war hawk which releases the inner Her, and I expect Her to be talking no fly zones as early as Tuesday. That should do well.

Laura Caceres, the daughter of Berta Caceres, the Honduran indigenous activist who was murdered a few months ago by Her client puppets, has been in Philadelphia, not exactly singing I'm With Her. If she's still hanging around, I'd bet it is out there with the other non-compliers, in the rain, on the wrong side of the four mile security fence which now encloses the Her Zone.

Then there are the people of Venezuela, less than overjoyed with Her for attempting to run their country from Washington. The Her Show -- they're actually finding it offensive. But who are they? They don't have anything to eat. They'll get tired soon.

It's a bit like the Her donor who was a cancer patient, he was rewarded a seat at the table at a Her event but at the last minute he was bumped because a bigger donor wanted that coveted seat, and uh... You had to love the now disclosed inhouse "private" comment on that from the noble Jordan Kaplan, driver of the Her Train: "Unfortunately some people get sick". Feel the Love!

A couple of days ago, on the day Bill Peckerwood Clinton spun that lovely little romantic fable for us, a journalist interviewed some people in Sudan, who are still pointing to the ruins of the country's largest pharmaceutical plant, which Peckerwood Bill blew up because... well, he had, like, intel.

You can bet Her be toting heap big intel every minute. And next minute three two one... launch!

Boss drumpf now, no intel at all, foreign policy wildcard, no policy, make it up as you go... almost like, say, a Murican corporate marketing analyst, or a DNC election strategist. Instead of a committee of malign, selfish, power hungry intent, with a huge staff of industrious complicit lawyers and liars, you have a mere individual of malign, selfish, power hungry intent, with a huge army of Murican purebred morons behind him.

Her on other hand have many global friend, her have scaly back, poor underdog Israel, poor underdog Saudi, they need Her weapon system because of... what was it, existentialism?.

And out of all this, I guess, shall emerge, once more, Who We Are As A People.

So do have a nice vote!!
